Description:
Lots: Set of reagents - SULFOLYSER (Reagent for determining the concentration of hemoglobin in the blood). The reagent is used in the XN-CBC channel to obtain a hemoglobin result using spectrophotometry. The key component is sodium lauryl sulfate, a molecule that has hydrophobic/hydrophilic parts. When mixed with a sample, SLS causes red blood cell lysis, allowing the hydrophobic moiety to attach to the globin molecule. This causes a conformational change in the globin molecule, which leads to the oxidation of the heme group from Fe2+ to Fe3+. After oxidation, the hydrophilic part of SLS is attached to the heme group, forming a stable colored complex, which is then passed through a spectrophotometer and read at a wavelength of 555 nm. Composition: sodium lauryl sulfate 1.7 g/l. Storage conditions: unopened reagent is stored for 12 months from the date of manufacture at 1-30C; After opening, the reagent is stable for 60 days. Packing: 3x500 ml. To determine compatibility with the software of medical equipment available to the Customer, and subsequent validation of the calibration on standard samples approved by the manufacturer, the Supplier performs spectral calibration of the kit upon delivery.
