Technical aluminum sulfate (purified) is intended for purifying water for domestic, drinking and industrial purposes for use in paper, textile, leather and other industries. 1. Appearance - non-caking plates, briquettes, pieces, of uncertain shape and different sizes, weighing no more than 10 kg, white; 2. Mass fraction of aluminum oxide - not less than 16%; 3. Mass fraction of water-insoluble residue - no more than 0.3%; 4. Mass the share of iron in terms of iron (III) oxide is no more than 0.02%; 5. Mass fraction of free sulfuric acid Н2SO4 - passes the test according to paragraph 4.8; 6. Mass fraction of arsenic in terms of arsenic oxide - no more than 0.001%. GOST 12966-85
